As Ham Radio Deluxe grows it is necessary to re-evaluate the design. As part of this exercise the logbook found in HRD and DM780 has been redesigned as a fully standalone logbook, part of HRD 5.0.
With this new logbook you have:
- Full control of your radio (HRD is used for radio control via a special radio panel in the new logbook),
- Support for a variety of database engines such as:
- Microsoft Access,
- MySQL,
- Microsoft SQL Server.
- Multiple logbook support - contests, DXing, EME - open as many as you want at the same time.
- An advanced DX Cluster interface which overcomes recent problems with changes to clusters such as OH2AQ (DX Summit). A brand new high-performance cluster node is now available, the address is spider.ham-radio-deluxe.com port 7300 .
- Rotator control via a link to the new HRD Rotator software.
- Status of the current solar cycle.
- The last 30 days' solar data.
- Bandmaps similar to those used in N1MM's #1 contest logbook.
