FTP

If you get a crash in one of the HRD programs you see a small Please Wait window which appears for a couple of minutes while a crash report is created.

In the BugTrap window which appears select More and you have the option of saving the crash report as a ZIP file. Usually these crash reports are far too big to send by email, so please upload using FTP to the HRD server.

In the steps below the user is uploading the crash dump file Dump-2008-08-25.ZIP - the name of your file will be different!

First open a DOS window - press the Windows Start button, select Run and enter cmd then pressOK.

When the DOS window is displayed follow the steps below. After uploading the file send a mail to hb9drv with the name of the crash dump file please.

Make sure you change the folder in the DOS window to the folder where the crash dump is stored, use lcd to change the local working directory.
