If DM780 crashes on startup it can be caused by the saved window size being too small, this is a bug in DM780.

To work around this problem you must use the registry editor and delete two entries for the current identity:

CMainFrame::windowRect rect and
CMainFrame::windowZoom

The folder for the Main Identity is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Simon Brown\Digital Master\Options, for the other identities it starts HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Simon Brown\Digital Master\Options ID... .

If in doubt just delete the entries in all the folders - all you lose is the default position for DM780 when it starts.
