HRD 6.0 Preview Known Bug List

This list may not contain all of the bugs in the HRD 6.0 Preview. If you find a bug please report it along with steps to replicate the bug. We use Mantis for all bug reports.

DM780

  • Various QRZ Lookup and transfer of data to Logbook issues
  • DM780, Supersweeper, mode does not track with SS ALE - M116
  • Icom Memory management in HRD does not work - M105
  • DM780 loses control of RTS line when ESC key is pressed - M87
  • Rigblaster RTS support treats all buttons as TX - M80
  • [DM780] DSP Low cut and DSP high cut sliders are labeled/function incorrectly for TS-480 - M72
  • When Logbook is connected to HRD, DM780 CAT commands are blocked. Yaesu rig. - M69
  • Prefix lookup doesn't work when you hover over a callsign in supersweeper and QSO window

Logbook

  • Cabrillo fields missing in export
  • Logbook Filter Pane Should Be Static Rather Than Dynamic
  • Island name field of IOTA tab is not persistent (no database field)
  • Align call signs with frequency in bandmaps
  • Logbook: Bulk Editor cannot update Contest ID to
  • Mail Address is not built correctly or consistently in ALE.
  • Possible Bug in How Locator is Handled in Logbook & DM780 ALE
  • QSY from Bandmap changes frequency but not mode
  • Cabrillo exports need to be reviewed for all contests to match the contest administrators published template - Support ticket
  • 2 rigs connected, when user switches rigs in the Logbook radio pane, focus needs to shift in Rig Control (cluster QSX tries to QSY both rigs).
  • Partial country lookup needs to be fixed
  • Column alignment in logbook window (logbook) has never worked
  • Logbook grid column widths are not remembered, either on startup/shutdown or on switching Layouts – N4KIT
  • ALE/Modify - Logbook tab - if the logbook tab is active on open, it does not display the previous QSOs until focus is shifted away and then back
  • Bulk Editor - font issues in the bulk editor. For example, if I try to update power, sometimes the numeric characters will appear as I type, sometimes not. In one case I went to add 50 watts, ie 50.000 and the editor added some zeros.
  • ADIF import does not validate any data
  • ADIF import changes distances. Import dist/location data with NO RECALCULATION.
  • When Modifying a QSO and changing the country (via the country dropdown), none of the location information (lat, lon, distance, continent, CQ Zone, ITU zone) is updated.
  • ARCluster does not work. Will connect, but locks up Logbook with error boxes
  • Cluster chokes on DX spots – need to limit the number of spots in the table and throw away the trash
  • Cluster options/Country – need to remove “DXCC”, “DX Country” & “DX Grid” – make “DX Parse” the only (default) option. The whole country tab could then be taken out
  • Lookup Pane – Callsign section – WSIs are not working correctly, callsign worked and callsign confirmed
  • ADIF export is missing (LoTW QSL received date).
  • On the ALE, Location tab. If the lat and lon are coming from the Country file (not found in other lookup sources), the lat and lon are not properly signed (-) if the country file lat and lon are S or W respectively.
  • Callsign Lookups in DM780 and Logbook not populating IOTA from QRZ record. Use OY1CT as test .

Rig Control

  • Parallel port antenna switching does not work in 64 bit systen
  • TS-2000 CAT issues
  • S-Meter TX Mode not showing for TS-480
  • Memory manager for Icom IC7000 is not working in HRD
  • Icom 706MKIIG will not change to USB or LSB mode when clicking DX spots or clicking MODE button in HRD if the radio is in CW Narrow mode. Command for USB or LSB needs to be proceeded by a "filter wide" command
  • Kenwood TS-480, IF shift controls set to 0, HRD slider says +1100Hz, Logbook and DM780 say +8900Hz

Satellite Tracking

  • Sat Track 2 radio setup, second rig is very slow updating rig
  • Satellite TX mode not properly transferred to FLEX 1500 from HRD
  • Inverting transponder TX Freq off
  • Satellite Tracking Radio Mode selection
  • Sat frequencies list needs to have mode added and set mode when QSY
  • When clicking on a frequency in the frequency list to edit, the comments for that frequency are not added to the comments section of the editing pane
  • Dial indicator does not echo current bearing
